These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Square Recovery website and to bookings, purchases and services provided by Square Recovery.
By using our website, making a booking, purchasing a service or gift card, joining a membership, or attending Square Recovery, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional terms that apply to the relevant service or membership.
1. Our services
Square Recovery provides recovery and wellness services including therapeutic massage, contrast therapy, traditional sauna, Normatec compression and other related services that may be introduced from time to time.
Services, session durations, availability and pricing may vary and may be updated from time to time.
Information provided on our website is general information only and should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
2. Bookings
Bookings are subject to availability.
All bookings are paid in full at the time of booking.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that information provided when making a booking is accurate and for arriving in sufficient time for their scheduled session.
Late arrival may result in a shortened session where extending the booking would affect another customer.
Where a booking is made through a third-party booking platform, additional terms of that platform may also apply.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
All bookings are paid in full at the time of booking.
Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Where a prepaid booking is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance, the customer may receive a full refund or reschedule the booking without a cancellation fee.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time are non-refundable. The full amount paid for the booking will be forfeited.
Failure to attend a scheduled booking without notice (a "no-show") is non-refundable and the full amount paid will be forfeited.
We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. Square Recovery may, at its discretion, waive the cancellation policy or provide an alternative arrangement in appropriate circumstances.
If Square Recovery needs to cancel a booking, the customer will be offered an alternative appointment or a refund, as appropriate.
Nothing in this cancellation policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices displayed on our website or booking platform are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
Payment is required at the time of booking or purchase where applicable.
Square Recovery may change its prices from time to time. Any price change will not affect a service that has already been purchased, except where otherwise permitted by law or agreed with the customer.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.
5. Memberships
Square Recovery may offer recurring memberships with specific benefits, access limits, pricing and conditions.
Memberships are personal to the member and must not be shared, transferred or used by another person unless expressly permitted by Square Recovery.
Membership purchases and use are also subject to the Membership Terms & Conditions applicable to the selected membership.
If there is an inconsistency between these general Terms & Conditions and specific Membership Terms & Conditions in relation to a membership, the specific Membership Terms & Conditions will apply to that membership.
6. Gift cards
Square Recovery gift cards are subject to the conditions stated at the time of purchase and any applicable Australian laws relating to gift cards.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
Customers are responsible for keeping gift card details secure. Square Recovery may not be able to replace a lost, stolen or incorrectly used gift card unless required by law or the relevant transaction can reasonably be verified.
7. Health and suitability
Some Square Recovery services involve heat, cold immersion, compression, physical treatment or other activities that may not be suitable for everyone.
Before using a service, customers are responsible for providing relevant information about any injury, health condition, pregnancy, medication or other circumstance that may affect their ability to safely participate.
Customers should seek advice from an appropriately qualified health professional before using a service if they are unsure whether it is suitable for them.
Square Recovery staff may decline, modify or discontinue a service where they reasonably believe it may not be appropriate or safe to proceed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Therapeutic massage
Therapeutic massage services are provided based on the information available to the therapist and the individual needs identified at the time of treatment.
Results vary between individuals and Square Recovery does not guarantee a particular therapeutic or health outcome.
Where private health fund rebates may be available for an eligible service, eligibility and the amount of any rebate are determined by the customer's health fund and applicable policy.
9. Recovery facilities and equipment
Customers must use Square Recovery facilities and equipment in accordance with staff instructions, safety information and any rules displayed at the facility.
Customers must not intentionally misuse, damage or interfere with equipment or facilities.
Square Recovery may refuse or discontinue access where a person's behaviour creates a reasonable safety risk, causes serious disruption to other customers or staff, or involves misuse of the facilities.
10. Personal belongings
Customers are responsible for their personal belongings while attending Square Recovery.
To the extent permitted by law, Square Recovery is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings unless caused by our failure to comply with an applicable legal obligation.
11. Website information and availability
We aim to keep information on the Square Recovery website accurate and current, but information including prices, availability, service descriptions and opening hours may change.
The website may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Images used on the website may be illustrative and may not always represent the exact facility, equipment or service shown.
12. Third-party services and links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including booking, membership, payment, gift card, social media and mapping services.
Those services are operated independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Square Recovery is not responsible for the operation or content of third-party websites, subject to any rights customers may have under applicable law.

15. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
Where a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, customers may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business operations or legal requirements.
The current version will be published on our website together with the date it was last updated.
Changes will not remove rights that have already accrued under applicable law.
17. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Any dispute relating to these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Queensland and any courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
